Umm al-Fahm, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening detained 21-year-old Palestinian youth Mohammed Saleh Jabarin from the city of Umm al-Fahm in the occupied Palestinian interior.
Local sources reported that the youth Jabarin was detained by the Israeli occupation forces that broke into al-Da’wa local center for the memorization of the holy Quran, as he was studying there.
The sources added that the Israeli occupation refuses to reveal the charges directed to the youth Jabarin and also prevents him from meeting his defense lawyer.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids against Palestinian people. Around 40 percent of Palestinians living in the occupied territories have been detained by ‘Israel’ at some point in their lives.
According to Palestinian figures, about 4,500 Palestinians, including 32 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
