West Bank, ALRAY - Arab Parliament called on Tuesday the international community to exert pressure on Israel to release the body of the Palestinian detainee martyr Naser Abu Humaid, so his family could bid him final farewell.
The Parliament renewed in a statement the call to international and human right institutions to intervene in order to release sick prisoners, the elderly, female prisoners, and children in the occupation prisons.
The statement stressed the parliament effort to defend the rights of Palestinian detainees, to work to internationalize the Palestinian cause, support its just struggle ans steadfastness in order to regain its land and its legitimate rights to establish his independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital.
It is announced on Tuesday the death of the Palestinian detainee Naser Abu Humaid,50, from Al-Amari camp in Ramallah central West Bank, in the Israeli “Asaf Harofeh” hospital, as a result of the policy of deliberate medical negligence “medical killing”, the policy IOF adopts against patient detainees.
By the death of Abu Humaid, the number of martyrs of the captive movement since 1967 has risen to 233.
