West Bank, ALRAY - Arab parliament condemned in a statement Israeli occupation government tries to escalate settlements building in West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
The parliament considered Israeli measures a flagrant challenge to international community laws, warning of its repercussions that portend more waves of violence and explosive conditions in the region.
It called on the UN and the international community to take an immediate step to stop the settlement schemes of Israeli occupation, especially in occupied Jerusalem, in a try to change the geographic and historical features of the city.
It called on the international community to abandon silence and confront these racist crimes, and to activate the mechanisms of international law and international humanitarian law.
It also called to question the perpetrators of these crimes in order to achieve justice and fairness for the Palestinian people, against whom all war crimes and against humanity are practiced, whose lands are confiscated and their homes demolished under the view of the whole world.
The Arab Parliament stressed the need to force Israeli occupation to yield to the will of international peace, by engaging in a peace process and real negotiations that lead within a specific time frame to end the occupation in accordance with international peace references, the Arab peace initiative and United Nations resolutions.
