Occupied WB, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday launched a wide-scale campaign of raids and detentions across several parts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the Israeli forces broke into the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and detained Kareem Abu Maria, Mohammed al-Hindi, Mohsen Awad, Mohammed Khalil, Abdullah Abu Maria, Mohammed Abu Maria, and Hamdi Abu Maria.
The sources added that the Israeli occupation forces detained the youth Muqeem al-Barghouti from the town of Beit Rima, south of the city of Ramallah.
In addition, the Israeli occupation forces detained Yazan Turabi from the town of Surra, west of the city of Nablus, while detained Sharaf Abu Baker and Firas Herzallah from the town of Ya’bad in Jenin.
Moreover, the IOF forces detained brothers Dujana and Mohammed Mahmoud Attun, Mohammed Jadallah, Yasser Jadallah, and Mohammed al-Atrash from the occupied Palestinian city of Jerusalem.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
According to Palestinian figures, about 4,500 Palestinians, including 32 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
