West Bank, ALRAY - Several Palestinian civilians were wounded late Tuesday during clashes that erupted after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the eastern area in the city of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOF fired tear gas canisters at Palestinian citizens and their homes and targeted the press crews directly after the closure of Amman Street, which led to the injury of several Palestinian citizens from suffocation due to gas inhalation.

Moreover, a Palestinian citizen was wounded by a direct tear gas canister that caused a fracture in his leg, and another citizen was trampled by a military jeep and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The sources said that the IOF detained a Palestinian youth, who is yet to be identified, in the suburban area.
