Occupied Palestine, ALRAY - A probe conducted by the Israeli occupation army has found that Ahmad Kahla who was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces a week ago posed no threat.

According to the investigation, the 45-year-old slain victim "had no intention to carry out any attack and did not attempt to snatch a weapon deliberately from any soldier."

The probe pointed out that Kahla was fatally shot after he tried to avoid a stifling traffic jam caused by a makeshift checkpoint installed by the Israeli occupation army on a road near Silwad in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.

It explained that Kahla tried to leave his vehicle in anger when a senior Israeli occupation army officer slammed its door shut and attacked him and his son with pepper spray before a soldier fatally shot him in front of his child.

So far in 2023, the Israeli occupation army has killed 18 Palestinian citizens, including four children, in the occupied West Bank.
