Jerusalem, ALRAY -The Israeli occupation army and colonial settlers have carried out 700 attacks against Palestinians over the past month, the Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission (CWRC) has found.
In its monthly report issued Wednesday, the CWRC explained that such attacks included assaulting Palestinian citizens, vandalizing and seizing Palestinian property, razing lands, uprooting trees, laying blockades, installing military checkpoints, and shootings.
Nablus has seen the highest number of Israeli attacks against Palestinians, with 131 assaults reported over the last month, followed by Jenin and Bethlehem, where 128 and 105 attacks were recorded respectively, according to the report.
Moayad Shaaban, the commission's head, said that the Israeli occupation army has killed 35 Palestinians in a single month in the occupied West Bank.
The commission documented 150 attacks by Israeli colonial settlers, who attempted to build six illegal settler outposts on swathes of stolen Palestinian land across the occupied West Bank.
In January, the Israeli occupation authorities issued 55 demolition and stop-work notices against Palestinian structures in the occupied West Bank.
The Israeli occupation army and colonial settlers bulldozed more than 541 dunums (54.1 hectares) of Palestinian-owned land in Salfit and Nablus, with the intention of seizing the land and using it for illegal settlement activity.
Over the past month, the Israeli occupation military demolished 94 Palestinian structures, including homes and commercial facilities, across the occupied West Bank.
The report found that Israeli colonial settlers last month destroyed and uprooted a total of 758 trees, mainly olive trees, in the occupied West Bank, particularly in Ramallah, Nablus, and Hebron.
Shaaban pointed out that the Israeli occupation authorities approved three new settler-colonial projects in January to build illegal settler units on swathes of occupied Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank.
