Gaza, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation navy on Thursday morning opened fire toward Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, Israeli occupation gunboats fired heavy machine guns and tear gas at Palestinian fishermen as they were working off Gaza's coast, forcing them to return ashore.

The Israeli occupation army detained Wednesday four Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Beit Lahia in the northern besieged Gaza Strip.
