Occupied Palestine, ALRAY - Israeli occupation court has issued high sentences against two Palestinian detainees from occupied Jerusalem.

On Tuesday, the occupation court issued a prison sentence to 47 months against Palestinian detainee Saleh Ayyub Abu Asab, who is a resident of the town of al-Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem.

In the same context, the occupation court also sentenced the youth Yazan Atef Obaid, who is a resident of al-Issawiya as well, to 33 months in prison.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces detained Palestinian activist Hanadi Halawani from the Bab al-Amoud plaza in occupied Jerusalem, allegedly for doing a live stream video via her mobile.

According to Palestinian figures, about 4,500 Palestinians, including 32 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.

Among them, more than 680 Palestinians are currently being held under “Israel’s” illegal policy of administrative detention without charge or trial.
