Occupation police deports Palestinian activist Khweiss from al-Aqsa

Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - Israeli occupation police on Wednesday issued a decision of deportation from the al-Aqsa Mosque for at least seven renewable days against Palestinian activist Khadija Khweiss.


Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation police detained the activist Khweiss, as she was entering the al-Aqsa Mosque, and took her to al-Qashla detention center in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.


The Israeli occupation police released the activist Khweiss and handed her a decision of deportation from the al-Aqsa Mosque, after several hours of being held and interrogated.


In the same context, the Israeli occupation court has issued a prison sentence for 32 months against the Palestinian detainee Yousuf Abu al-Hawa from the al-Tur town in occupied Jerusalem.


In addition, the Israeli occupation court extended the detention of the two Palestinian teens Dawoud al-Ghoul and Fares Sarhan, from the Silwan town, until March 27.


According to Palestinian figures, about 4,500 Palestinians, including 32 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
