Hebron, ALRAY - Israeli colonial settlers attacked Saturday Palestinian citizens in Masafer Yatta in the occupied southern West Bank city of Hebron, preventing them from accessing their farmlands.
Local official Mohammad Rabie said that Israeli colonial settlers violently assaulted members of the Rabie family and prevented them from entering their lands, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.
Last week, a group of Israeli colonial settlers chopped down old olive trees belonging to two local residents of the same area.
Over the past decade, Israeli colonial settlers have uprooted more than 700 olive trees from Palestinian groves in a bid to seize the land for illegal settlement expansion.
Last Thursday, Israeli colonial settlers destroyed Palestinian crops and grazed their cattle on wheat and barley fields in the east of Yatta, damaging much of the crops.
The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission last month documented 636 attacks by Israeli colonial settlers and the Israeli occupation army against Palestinian citizens and their property in the occupied West Bank.
