West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army detained early Sunday morning five Palestinian citizens from the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to the Asra Media Office, Israeli occupation forces detained Mohammad Sharifa and Laith Ghaith during a raid on the neighbourhood of Bab Hutta in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

Last night, the Israeli occupation forces also detained Ali and Amir Salaima from the Old City.

The Israeli occupation army detained Shaker Lahlouh, from Jenin, at a military checkpoint near Deir Sharaf town in northwestern Nablus.

The Israeli occupation is holding some 4,780 Palestinian detainees, including 30 women and around 160 children, according to Palestinian prisoners' rights organisations
