Occupied WB, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces on Thursday launched a wide campaign of raids and detentions across different areas in the occupied West Bank.


Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces detained youths Nader Hamayel and Musa Maali from Nablus’s town of Beita, as well as detained the ex-detainee Hamdi Khatatba from the city’s Beit Furik town.


The sources added that the Israeli occupation forces also detained the citizens Mohammed Dandis, Nasri al-Jubeh and his son Malik, after breaking into and ransacking their houses.


In addition, the Israeli occupation forces detained the wounded teen Mohammed Abu Safiya from the town of Beit Sira in Ramallah.


Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the occupied West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by ‘Israel’ at some point in their lives.   


It is now holding 4,780 Palestinian detainees, including 29 female detainees and around 160 children, in its prisons, according to Palestinian prisoners' rights groups.
