Jericho, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army shot and wounded Wednesday two Palestinians, including a photojournalist, during a raid into the occupied West Bank city of Jericho.
According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces fired live rounds and rubber-coated metal bullets toward Palestinian citizens and vehicles during the raid on Jericho, injuring a journalist and a young man.
The journalist Suliman Abu Srour was shot in the foot with a rubber-coated steel bullet, while the young man suffered a shrapnel injury to his shoulder. They were both rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The Israeli occupation army broke into the camps of Aqabat Jaber and Ein as-Sultan and detained four local citizens.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army detained 29 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
