West Bank, ALRAY - Israeli colonial settlers attacked on Saturday evening Palestinian shepherds in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank.

Local official Moatz Bisharat said a group of Israeli colonial settlers violently attacked Tariq Awawdeh in the Humsa al-Fuqa area, hitting him on the head with a stone and killing one of his sheep.

The attack came two days after Israeli colonial settlers atrociously assaulted Palestinian shepherds in Al-Farisiya hamlet, east of Tubas in the Jordan Valley.

In early March, the Israeli occupation army demolished several Palestinian homes in the Humsa hamlet in the northern Jordan Valley.

The Israeli occupation seeks to forcibly displace Palestinian citizens in the northern Jordan Valley and seize their homes and lands under false pretexts.
