Occupied WB, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday detained at least 12 Palestinian people during several raids across different areas of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces broke into Beit Rima town, west of the city of Ramallah, and detained two people named Ali al-Rimawi and Wahbi al-Rimawi.
The sources added that the Israeli occupation forces also detained Abdallah Abu Safi, Anan al-Sudani and Abdallah Faraj from Nablus, Qusai Ma’ali from Jenin and Mahmoud Abu Jamous from Jericho.
They also said that the Israeli occupation forces detained Jihad Bishara, Mohammed Bishara, Abdul Rahman Hijazi, Abed Zahayqa and Abdullah Hijazi from occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the occupied West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by ‘Israel’ at some point in their lives.
It is now holding 4,780 Palestinian detainees, including 29 female detainees and around 160 children, in its prisons, according to Palestinian prisoners' rights groups.
