West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army has detained a Palestinian college student at a military checkpoint near the occupied central West Bank city of Ramallah.
According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces detained Tuesday Ahmad al- Nubani, a 20-year-old student at Birzeit University, after holding him for several hours at a military checkpoint set up on occupied Palestinian-owned land to the north of Ramallah.
The Israeli occupation is holding some 4,780 Palestinian detainees, including 34 women and around 160 children, according to Palestinian prisoners' rights organisations.
