Qalqilya, ALRAY - Israeli occupation army shot and wounded a young Palestinian man during a raid into the occupied northern West Bank city of Qalqilya on Saturday evening.

Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that Aaed Salim, 20, succumbed to the wounds that he sustained after being shot in the abdomen and chest by Israeli occupation forces in Azzun town, east of Qalqilya.

According to local sources, Israeli occupation soldiers broke into Azzun and fired tear gas, rubber-coated metal bullets, and live rounds at a crowd of young men, seriously injuring Salim.

Salim's killing raises the number of Palestinian citizens who have been shot dead by the Israeli occupation army and colonial settlers to 95, including 17 children and one woman.

Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territory suffer from almost daily attacks by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers, resulting in many injuries and sometimes martyrs among them.
