Jerusalem, ALRAY - The Israeli military court of "Salem" has extended the incarceration of Palestinian detainee Abdel Rahman Jarrar for another six months without charge for the third time in a row.

According to the Asra Media Office, the Israeli occupation army detained Jarrar, 26, at the Huwara military checkpoint in southern Nablus in the occupied northern West Bank.

After holding him for ten days at the "Al-Jalama" detention facility for questioning, the Israeli military court of "Salem" issued Jarrar a six-month administrative detention order based on alleged "secret evidence".

A few days before his first administrative detention order was set to end, the Israeli occupation authorities extended Jarrar's imprisonment for another six months without charge or trial.

Set to be released Tuesday, the Israeli military court extended his administrative detention for another six months at the request of the Israeli occupation intelligence service.

Administrative detention is a widely-condemned form of imprisonment that allows the Israeli occupation to hold Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable periods of time based on "secret evidence."

The Israeli occupation is now holding 1,016 Palestinians under administrative detention without charge, including six children and one woman, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
