West Bank, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces demolished on Monday a house in the village of Um Safa, northwest of Ramallah.
Marwan Sabah, the head of Um Safa Village Council, stated that Israeli occupation forces raided the area of Jabal Al-Ras, east of the village, and demolished a house under construction belonging to the citizen Khalid Qar'an. The house had a total area of 200 square meters, and the demolition was justified on the grounds of construction in "Area C" zones.
He added that the Israeli occupation forces also bulldozed lands and agricultural roads in the area.
He noted that clashes erupted in the village, during which the occupation forces unleashed a barrage of toxic gas and sound bombs towards the civilians, without any reported injuries.
