West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army has shot and wounded two young Palestinian men and detained one of them during a raid near the occupied central West Bank city of Ramallah.
According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces opened fire at two young men near Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, injuring both of them.
Israeli occupation soldiers detained one of the injured young men, whose identity has not been identified yet.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that a young man was rushed to a hospital in Ramallah with moderate wounds after being shot in the thigh and chest by Israeli occupation forces near Al-Mughayyir village.
The Israeli occupation army has been sealing off all entrances to Al-Mughayyir for 16 days, blocking the movement of vehicles and people in and out of the camp.
Meanwhile, Israeli colonial settlers have stepped up their attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property in the villages near Ramallah, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.
Nearly 750,000 Israeli colonial settlers now live in more than 250 illegal settlements and outposts across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in violation of international law.
