Gaza, ALRAY - Israeli occupation gunboats have opened fire at Palestinian fishermen as they were working off the coast of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that Israeli occupation naval forces fired heavy machine guns at Palestinian fishing boats nearly three nautical miles off the shore of Gaza City.

Fearing for their lives, the fishermen were forced to return ashore.

The Israeli occupation army regularly attacks and harasses Palestinian fishermen off the coast of the blockaded Gaza Strip.
