Ramallah, ALRAY - Colonial Israeli settlers have attacked and wounded Palestinian citizens and set fire to swathes of Palestinian farmland in the occupied central West Bank city of Ramallah.

Local sources said that a mob of Israeli settlers, accompanied by Israeli occupation forces, attacked Deir Dibwan town, east of Ramallah, and hurled rocks at Palestinian citizens, injuring four of them.

The Israeli settlers also set swathes of wheat fields on fire and attempted to torch a Palestinian home in the town.

During the assault, the Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian property and vehicles, causing damage to several homes.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas at local Palestinian citizens, causing a number of them to suffocate.

Colonial Israeli settlers have recently stepped up their attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property in the occupied West Bank, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.
