Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - Dozens of extremist Israeli settlers on Thursday morning broke into the courtyards of the al-Aqsa Mosque Compound via the Maghariba gate, heavily guarded by the occupation forces.
Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem said that dozens of the Israeli settlers broke into the al-Aqsa Mosque, toured its courtyards provokingly and performed Talmudic rituals at its eastern area.
The storming comes after the Israeli occupation forces imposed tight restrictions on Palestinian worshipers, including checking their IDs and holding them at the mosque’s gates.
It’s noteworthy that the al-Aqsa mosque Compound exposes on a daily basis to the storming of the Israeli settlers, at which they perform Talmudic rituals and discrete its sanctity.
The Israeli occupation seeks through its storming to the Al-Aqsa to devote the temporal and spatial division of the mosque and to Judaize the occupied Palestinian city of Jerusalem.
