West Bank, ALRAY - A Palestinian child suffered wounds and bruises after Israeli colonial settlers violently assaulted him in Masafer Yatta in southern Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

Local youth activist Osama Makhamreh said that a group of Israeli colonial settlers brutally beat up six-year-old Amin Dawoud, along with his family, as they were razing their sheep in Masafer Yatta.

Israeli colonial settlers have stepped up their attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property in the occupied West Bank, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.

Nearly 700,000 Israeli colonial settlers now live in more than 250 illegal settlements and outposts across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in violation of international law.

Meanwhile, an Israeli occupation military vehicle ran over another Palestinian child in Beit Furik town, east of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, Zain Hanani, 14, was rushed to hospital with bruises after an Israeli occupation soldier driving a military vehicle struck him in a deliberate hit-and-run attack in Beit Furik town.

The attack took place during a raid by the Israeli occupation army, during which it fired live rounds, stun grenades, and tear gas at local citizens.
