Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces have chopped down at least 50 olive trees and demolished a retaining wall in occupied Jerusalem.
According to local sources, the Israeli occupation forces cut down at least 50 olive trees belonging to a local resident called Ali al-Khatib in Hizma town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
The Israeli occupation forces also knocked down a retaining wall surrounding a four-dunum plot of land owned by Ahmad al-Khatib and destroyed several dirt roads in the area.
According to the Land Research Center, the Israeli occupation has uprooted around two million Palestinian olive trees since the 1967 Naksa, or setback, which culminated in the Israeli occupation occupying the rest of historic Palestine, in addition to the Syrian Golan Heights and the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula.
