Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - In a concerning development on Wednesday morning, dozens of settlers forcefully entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound through the Moroccan Gate, enjoying strict protection from Israeli occupation police.
The Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem, reported that the settlers proceeded to conduct provocative tours within the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. They further engaged in Talmudic rituals in the Bab al-Rahma area.
The Israeli occupation police have continued to impose restrictions on the entry of worshippers coming from Jerusalem and the occupied interior of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. This involves thorough identity checks and detentions of some individuals at the external gates.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque experiences daily violations and incursions by settlers, accompanied by Israeli police. These actions are an apparent attempt to assert complete control over the mosque, both temporally and spatially.
Despite widespread condemnation from Arab and Islamic nations regarding the occupation's repeated violations against Al-Aqsa, the Israeli government and settlers persist in their attacks without ceasing.
