Occupied Palestine, ALRAY - The Israeli military court of "Ofer" has renewed the arbitrary incarceration of Palestinian detainee Thaer Halahleh for another three months for the fourth time.

According to the Asra Media Office, the Israeli occupation army re-detained Halahleh after raiding and ransacking his home in Khras town in the occupied southern West Bank city of Hebron.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) official was re-detained one year following his release after being held for 14 months under administrative detention without charge or trial.

One week after his detention, the Israeli military court of "Ofer" issued Halahleh a four-month administrative detention order.

Before his first administrative detention order was set to end, the Israeli occupation intelligence service renewed Halahleh's arbitrary imprisonment for another four months without charge.

So far, he has been jailed for 12 months under administrative detention without charge or trial.

A married father of four children who was detained several times in the past, Halahleh had been jailed for a total of around 15 years, including 11 years under administrative detention.

In 2012, he went on a hunger strike lasting 78 days to protest his arbitrary detention without charge or trial.

Administrative detention is a widely-condemned form of imprisonment that allows the Israeli occupation to hold Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable periods of time based on "secret evidence" in a stark violation of international humanitarian law.

The Israeli occupation is holding at least 1,016 Palestinians under administrative detention without charge, including six children and one woman, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
