West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army conducted a large-scale detention raid across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, detaining at least 25 Palestinian citizens.

 

According to local sources, the Israeli occupation army, accompanied by several military vehicles and foot soldiers, broke into Beita town, south of Nablus, and stormed and ransacked dozens of homes and shops.

 

During the raid, the Israeli occupation army detained more than 16 Palestinian citizens.

 

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian child from Beit Duqqu town in the northwest of the holy city.

 

The Israeli occupation army raided Arraba town, south of Jenin, and detained five citizens.

 

In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces detained one citizen from Yatta town and an ex-detainee from Beit Ummar town, in the north of the city.

 

During the raid into Beit Ummar, the Israeli occupation army stormed and ransacked several homes in the town.

 

The Israeli occupation is holding around 4,900 Palestinian detainees, including 34 women and nearly 160 children, in inhumane conditions and harsh conditions, according to Palestinian prisoners' rights organisations.
