Al-Aqsa Mosque, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces raided on Monday evening the Qibli Mosque in Al-Aqsa Mosque and evicted the Jerusalemites prayers.

Local Jerusalemite sources reported that IOF, deployed in the court yards, stormed the Qibli Mosque and evicted the prayers.

The sources explained that IOF seized the prayers luggages and prevented them from continuing their I'tikaf in the northern prayer area of the mosque.

IOF also arrested a number of the guard of Al-Aqsa Mosque and evict the prayers from the mosque.

Muslims increase their practice of religious rituals, including prayers and I'tikaf, in the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijja, and specifically in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Jerusalemites calls have emphasized the importance of embarking on a journey to the mosque and dedicating oneself to worship and I'tikaf throughout the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

These calls come in response to the proposed law introduced by Likud party member Ayelet Shaked to divide the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The proposed law suggests granting control to settlers over the central and northern parts of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, particularly the area of the Dome of the Rock, while allowing Muslims to continue their prayers in the southern prayer area and its surroundings.
