Gaza, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation navy opened fire at Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Rafah in the southern besieged Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that Israeli gunboats used heavy machine guns to attack Palestinian fishing boats about three nautical miles off the shore of Rafah, forcing fishermen to return ashore.

No casualties were reported in the attack.

The Israeli occupation army attacks Palestinian fishermen as they work off the coast of the blockaded Gaza Strip on a near-daily basis.
