West Bank, ALRAY- Israeli colonial settlers have torched fruitful olive trees in Hebron the southern occupied West bank.

According to local sources, a group of Israeli colonial settlers set fire to three monumental olive trees in central Hebron.

Local citizens managed to put out the fire, the sources added.

Israeli colonial settlers are seeking to burn as many olive trees as possible in a bid to seize the area in order to build a new settler-colonial road.

Nearly 700,000 Israeli colonial settlers now live in more than 250 illegal settlements and outposts across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in violation of international law.

Israeli colonial settlers have recently stepped up their attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property in the occupied West Bank, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.
