Gaza, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army has shot and wounded two young Palestinian men while violently quelling popular, peaceful demonstrations near the eastern fence of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced two young men were rushed to hospital with various injuries after being shot by Israeli occupation forces near Gaza’s eastern fence.
Several more suffered breathing difficulties after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli occupation soldiers while brutally suppressing the popular protests east of Gaza.
Israeli occupation forces also heavily fired tear gas at ambulances, paramedics, and media workers in the east of Gaza City and Jabalia.
Earlier on Monday, hundreds of Palestinian citizens marched near the eastern fence in the south and north of the blockaded Gaza Strip to protest the repeated Israeli attacks and violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Last Friday, the Israeli occupation army violently suppressed peaceful protests held along Gaza’s eastern fence, injuring 12 Palestinians, including a journalist.
