West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army detained on Sunday evening a Palestinian woman after violently attacking her at a military checkpoint in the north of Al-Bireh in the central occupied West Bank.
Israeli occupation forces brutally assaulted a Palestinian woman at a military checkpoint near the illegal settlement of “Beit El” to the north of Al-Bireh before detaining her.
The Israeli occupation army took the detained woman to a military post near the illegal settlement of “Beit El” before moving her to an undisclosed location.
The detained woman has not been identified yet, according to local sources.
The number of female Palestinian detainees has risen to 35 after the Israeli occupation detained three women earlier this month.
The Israeli occupation is holding around 5,100 Palestinian detainees in inhumane conditions, including more than 1,200 under the so-called administrative detention without charge, according to a Palestinian prisoners’ rights group.
