Gaza Strip, ALRAY - One Palestinian citizen was injured and several more suffered breathing difficulties after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli occupation forces as they were violently suppressing a peaceful demonstration near the eastern fence of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli occupation forces used tear gas to attack the peaceful protesters along the separating fence in the east of Gaza City and Jabalia, causing dozens of them to suffocate.
A young man also sustained gunshot wounds after being shot by Israeli occupation soldiers near Gaza’s eastern fence, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Hundreds of Palestinian citizens marched along the fence of the blockaded Gaza Strip to protest the repeated Israeli attacks and violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the arbitrary measures imposed against Palestinian detainees by the Israeli occupation prison service.
