Jerusalem, ALRAY – Israeli occupation forces detained a guard of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday.

Local sources said that Israeli occupation forces detained Shaher al-Razim near the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Meanwhile, dozens of Israeli colonial settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

The Israeli occupation authorities imposed tight restrictions on Palestinian worshippers seeking to access the Al-Aqsa Mosque.  

Israeli colonial settlers have recently stepped up their violations and raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque in a bid to take over the mosque and impose a temporal and spatial division at the Muslim sacred compound, , under the protection of the Israeli occupation authorities.
