West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation army detained at least 16 Palestinian citizens during a large-scale raid in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem early Wednesday morning.
The Asra Media Office said that Israeli occupation forces detained a young man from Qalqiliya and three others from Tubas.
Israeli occupation forces detained a college student and three ex-detainees after breaking into Beit Duqqu northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli occupation forces also detained four young men during the raid on the occupied holy city.
In Hebron, the Israeli occupation army detained three young men and an ex-detainee after raiding Al-Shiyoukh town in the east of the southern West Bank city.
The Israeli occupation army routinely conducts raids and incursions into the towns and villages of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
Such raids have intensified since the start of the year with Palestinian citizens detained on a near-daily basis.
The Israeli occupation is holding around 5,100 Palestinian detainees in inhumane conditions, including more than 1,200 under the so-called administrative detention without charge, according to a Palestinian prisoners’ rights group.
