Gaza, Alra'y - A delegation from the Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in UN (OCHA) headed on Wednesday to Jordan valley to investigate the death of cows and sheep belonging to Palestinian Bedouins.
It is witnessed lately the death of thousands of sheep and cows belonging to Bedouins citizens in the Northern Jordan Valley, after being poisoned by Israeli settlers . OCHA reflected its deep concerns over the situation, forming a committee to find out the real reasons stand behind this phenomenon and list them in a report to the UN office.
The delegation interviewed owners of sheep and cows, reporting their remarks about the situation.
Palestinian Bedouins pointed out that Israel keep chasing their cattles and taking them away, claiming that they entered state forest. Israel imposed heavy fines on them in order to retrieve their livestocks.
