Gaza, Alray - Hamas politburo member Ezzat al-Rishq condemned Israel’s intention to deport Bedouin population of Khan al-Ahmar locality in eastern Jerusalem.
He said on Friday in a press release “we reject the Israeli schemes to displace our people from Jerusalem in favor of the Israeli settlement”.
"It’s a desperate attempt that will not succeed in imposing a fait accompli obscuring historical landmarks of Jerusalem, one of which is Khan al-Ahmar." He added.
Al-Rishq called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League to assume their responsibilities in protecting Jerusalem's historical landmarks.
