The Palestinian Government was astonished of the statements made by the head of the Renaissance Party in the Tunisia Parliament, saying that the Palestinian Prime Minster ,Ismail Haniyeh, demanded not to include sanctions in the Tunisian constitution against normalization with Israel
The spokesman of the Palestinian Government Mr. Taher AL-Nono said , in press release on Tuesday 30-10-2012 , that the Prime Minister has never mentioned this issue , whether during his visit to Tunisia or after it. He added that " the Tunisian constitution is internal issue belongs to Tunisia only".
Al-Nono stressed that the Prime Minister "didn’t interfere in this subject and he didn’t ask not to include sanctions against normalization with Israel ". He called the media to be more accurate . Mr. Al-Nono assured that the Palestinian Government rejected all kind pf normalization with the Zionist entity, he also affirmed that "the Government respected the decisions of the Arab political parties and will never interfere with their internal affairs".
