Gaza, Alray - "Medical negligence by Ashkelon prison administration turned prisoner Mohammed Abrash from Ramallah, sight and hearing-impaired," said Palestinian Prisoners' Club.

Abrash told the club-assigned lawyer, who visited the Israeli prison recently, that he "fully lost the ability to see in the right eye, and barely in the left," and that he is "now using an artificial foot."

The prisoner, sentenced to three life sentences, 35 years each, of which 10 years passed, called on the prison administration several times to provide him with retinal and corneal implant before fully losing the ability to see.

He added that he "needs to clean up his left hand from shrapnel wounded him before his arrest, which is a severe pain source to him.
