Gaza, Alray - The Egyptian authorities re-opened Rafah crossing Wednesday morning after releasing the kidnapped seven Egyptian servicemen, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior stated.
The ministry affirmed that border works on both ways and urged those who registered on Friday and Saturday to go to crossing to able to travel.
Over 2,400 Palestinians were stranded at both sides of the crossing.
Egyptian police closed the Rafah crossing on Friday after gunmen ambushed two minibuses in Sinai's Wadi al-Akhdar and kidnapped seven Egyptian servicemen.
