Gaza, Alray - A Palestinian student was ranked number four at the International Science and Technology Fair (Intel ISEF), in Phoenix, Arizona.

Raghda Eshtayeh from Nablus, a student at Salem Secondary Girls School, participated in the ISEF with a project titled "Silent protection".

"I have developed an electronic sensor that filters the air from the Carbon monoxide (CO)," said Eshtayeh.

Eshtayeh conducted a survey at her village Salem shows that most people suffer from smuts resulted from inhaling Carbon monoxide (CO).

Intel ISEF is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition, which allows students to compete and showcase their independent research work to a panel of experts. This year, approximately 1,600 finalists from more than 70 countries competed to win awards and prizes totaling over $ 4 million for their innovative research..
