Gaza, Alray - The Government Media Office( GMO) condemned the Israeli violations against the Palestinian journalists in the West Bank, considering it a” stark violation for their legal and professional rights.”
In a press statement released on Monday, the GMO expressed its deeply concern over “the noticeably increase on journalists detention since the beginning of 2013, the latest of which was the detention of the journalist Said Alqaq from Jerusalem.”
The GMO also denounced the "silence" of the international community re crimes which systematically committed against journalists to prevent them from conveying the ugly truth of the occupation.
The immediate release of all detained journalists was the demand of the GMO; calling international organizations to take serious actions against Israeli occupation.
