Jerusalem, ALRAY - Israeli military court of appeals in Ofer ordered to re-arrest a British citizen from Lebanese origins accusing him of transferring money and cell phones for Hamas movement.
The lawyer of Fayez Sharari, 49, Ramzi Qtilat said that the Sharari arrived to the occupied West Bank in 11 September and was arrested after four days when leaving through Al-Karama crossing. He was accused of transferring money and cell phones for Hamas movement.
"The military court in Ofer ordered to release him considering he was forced to confess by the Shabak interrogators, and cleaned him of the accusation of dealing with Hamas," Qtilat said.
He added that the Israeli military advocate appealed against the decision and the military court of appeals positively responded and affirmed the re-arrest decision.
