Gaza, Alray –The Palestinian worker Abdullah al-Birri,20, from Qalqilya was shot and injured by a settlement security guard in the northern West Bank on Tuesday, local sources reported.

Eyewitnesses told Alray, " the security guard of the illegal Oranit settlement opened fire at a number of Palestinian workers while they were heading to work in Israel."

Al-Birri was shot in the leg and taken to Darwish Nazzal hospital in Qalqiliya. Medics said he suffered moderate injuries.
