Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the police to search worshipers entering the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, a day after the removal of the electronic gates and replace it by smart cameras system, which will be completed within six months.


According to the Walla website, the decision was taken following a telephone call between Netanyahu and Israeli Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan, they agreed to search worshipers entering the Aqsa Mosque individually and through hand-held metal checks, because of  the security sensitivity of the location, according to the Israeli appeals.


According to a poll made by Hebrew channel 2, 77% of  the Israelis believes that the removal of the electronic gate is a retreat by the Israeli government , 17% does not think that it is a retreat, while  just 6%  has no idea.  


Israeli occupation authorities removed on Tuesday the electronic gates that were erected in front of the door of Asbat, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and replaced it with the smart cameras system, which will be completed within six months, at a cost of 100 million shekels.
