Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday at dawn detained 16 Palestinian people during multiple raids targeted several districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Prisoners Media Office reported that the IOF forces broke into the city of Nablus and detained Akram Johar, Muhammad al-Ashaibi, teen Omar Hashash and Mahmoud al-Namrouti.
The office added that also detained youths Omar Abu Libda and Ibrahim Abu Libda as they were passing a flying military checkpoint at the eastern entrance into the city of Qalqilya.
As to the city of Ramallah, the office said that the IOF forces detained Youssef Hosha, father of the priosner in Israeli jail Omar Hosha, and student in Birzeit University Ya’ad Abu Ayyash after breaking into and ransacking their houses, while detained youth Hasan Baker while passing a military checkpoint.
In Hebron, the IOF forces detained ex-prisoner Khalil Farroukh, after wreaking havoc on his house, whereas detained youths Abed Salhab and Abdel Rahim Salhab from the city of Bethlehem.
Regarding occupied Jerusalem, the IOF forces detained four people, identified as Majed Dari, Muhammad Dari, Wadi Abu al-Hummus and Mahmoud Gharib.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
