Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday at dawn detained at least 12 Palestinian people during raids targeted multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the IOF forces broke into Tubas city, and detained Hamas leading member ex-detainee Fazaa Sawaftah as well as detained ex-detainee Obada al-Kharraz.
In the town of Yamun, west of the city of Jenin, the IOF forces detained Mohammed Smoudi and Sanad Abu Hamdah, and released citizen Isam al-Zaghloul hours after detaining him.
As of occupied Jerusalem, the IOF forces detained youth Mohammed Salah al-Din from the city’s town of Hazma, and detained Mamun Farhan from the Shufat refugee camp.
In the same context, the IOF forces detained youth Ahmad Hanani from the town of Beit Furik, eat of the city of Nablus.
Moreover, the IOF forces detained teens Qusai Jaara from the Arroub refugee camp in Hebron and Ubai Abu Maria from the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city, after assaulting him.
Regarding Bethlehem, the IOF forces detained ex-detainee Moath Soman and youths Ahmad Atallah and Salah Atallah.
According to Palestinian figures, over 4,500 Palestinians, including 40 women and 170 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
At least 700 of the prisoners suffer from chronic illnesses and require regular medical care, 10 of them are suffering from different types of cancer.
