West Bank, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained 17 Palestinians on Wednesday morning from different areas across the West Bank.


Local sources stated that the IOF had detained 8 Palestinians from Ramallah identified as Abdallah Samhan, Ahmed Samhan, Mo’ayad Samhan, Nedal Samhan, Anas Samhan, Mahmoud Samhan and Mohammed Abu Fkhaida from Ras Karkar village, in addition to Haidar Abu Mukho, Director-General of Alraheem Association – Down Syndrome Friends, from Deir Jarir in East Ramallah.


The sources added that IOF had also four Palestinians from Hebron: Diar Al-Salebi, Omar Al-Alami, Majdi Awad and Yousef Abu Maria, as well as Rami Al-Tayyah from Tulkarm.


Jehad Nawahda, Osaid Nawahda, Fo’ad Abu Arrob and Jamal Yasin were also detained by IOF as the sources stated.

Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
